The bichrome jug shows the sacred tree motif and five dog-types based on John Caius’ Of Englishe Dogges (1576). The dog types depicted are Dogs that Hunt Fur, Dogs that Hunt Feather, Pastoral Dogs, Companion Dogs and the Rascal (Terrier).
